The Curvature render element determines how strongly the surface of objects bends at any given location. It also differentiates between convex and concave angles.
This information can be used during post-processing to detect and modify grooves and ridges on objects.
The radius around the surface that is used to determine curvature.
This specifies how the curvature is mapped to the 3 color channels of the output image.
The convex and the concave curvature can be used separately, with higher values indicating a larger curvature. There is also the option to combine both into the same channel. In this case a value of 0.5 denominates a flat surface. The value increases for convex areas and decreases for concave areas.
